Collaboration With Integrative Breath Therapist Michele Meehan
For Individuals Or Groups
A 90 minute sound and breath session can be experienced in an individual setting and is facilitated by a trained Breath Therapist and Soundwork Practitioner.
Integrative Breath Therapy uses a conscious connected breath to bring you into a state of relaxation and heightened awareness. In this state, you have full access to body memory, creativity and transpersonal and spiritual experience. Becoming aware of your breath can help you identify where you are holding tension – physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Working with the depth and rhythm of your breath can help you gently release tension, emotions or beliefs that no longer serve you as well as access states of well-being, joy, peace and spiritual connection. The therapists will assist you to develop your own personal intention for your session, and help you carry the benefits of your session into your daily life. The breath is complemented by a live, evocative soundscape that supports and deepens the experience. Together, breath and live sound offer a uniquely rich inner journey.
What is Integrative Breath Therapy?
Integrative Breath Therapy is a way of using your breath to bring you into a state of relaxation and heightened awareness. In this state, you have full access to body memory, creativity and transpersonal and spiritual experiences.
What is Soundwork?
Soundwork uses an intimate knowledge of the chakra system, shamanic traditions and the vibrational nature of our bodies to enhance and deepen an experience. Melodic, sometimes dissonant, you will be surrounded by a rich blanket of sound and soulful vocals while instruments from traditions around the globe are played around and over you.
How do Integrative Breath Therapy and Sound work together?
Both breath and sound help to connect you with your inner world and access greater awareness. Together, they create an opportunity for a profound inner journey that transcends any experience that can be achieved in traditional therapy. Soundwork is used to help reflect and impel the experience as you breathe a conscious, connected breath.
A Journey of Breath and Sound can help you:
* Journey inward.
* Break negative mental, emotional or physical patterns.
* Enhance your vitality.
* Experience life altering revelations about yourself.
* Contact your higher self.
* Reclaim your shadow side.
* Deepen trust of your inner truth.
* Reconnect with your creative energy.
* Release past memories and blocks.
* Live fully in the present moment.
