Sonica Circles expand on and break down the different components of a Sonica Sanctus. Sonica Sanctus, developed by Gary Diggins, is a way to explore improvisational and intentional sounding in intimate group settings. For those who are unfamiliar with sound circles, Ann-Marie’s workshop gives them the opportunity to explore their voices in a playful and comfortable manner. It also gives them a chance to explore and learn to use many different kinds of world instruments. At the end of the workshop the participants both provide and receive the medicine/sonic tonic of intentional soundmaking.
