So, what is a ‘Sound Journey’? It is an improvisational sonic storytelling that shifts through many moods, flavours and colours. Rather than singing in recognizable languages, vocables are used. These are made up words, improvised and sung in the moment meant to explore an inner emotional landscape. Instead of the singer telling you a story, vocables encourage the listener to create their own story as the music unfolds, transporting them from a thinking place to a new horizon where the imagination can run and play freely. We don’t often take the time to relax and let our imaginations soar in today’s fast-paced and often stressful world. While you listen to New Horizon I invite you to dim the lights, put your feet up and enjoy the journey. . .wherever it may take you!
