“Exploring the Visionary Within”
A two day workshop With Ann-Marie Boudreau
at Southampton Art School
Exploring the Visionary Within – a Two Day Workshop
Explore your visionary within through the use of the seven charkas, archetypal images, soundwork, voicework, mandala meditation, movement, tantric energy and the breath. This work is supportive of those who would like to dive deeply within to bring their inner visions to the surface and further into focus. Combining a variety of creative tools this exploratory workshop also touches on soundwork which utilizes an intimate knowledge of the chakra system, shamanic traditions and the vibrational nature of our bodies to enhance and deepen our life experience; voicework as a personal intent including an exploration of improvised vocalization and ‘vocables’, made up words in the moment; intentional sounding with voice and world instruments intended to bring the sounders into a heart-centered space along with those listening and ‘receiving sound’; being embodied through movement guided from the inside-out, being present to our breath…our life-energy and opening further to the enjoyment of all our senses through a ‘massage of the senses’. No prior musical skills required. *Please wear comfortable clothing as movement is involved. Bring along a yoga mat as there will be floor work and a bottle of water.
Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm Sat/Sun, Cost: $140.00 For more information contact Sharon Barfoot at the Southampton Art School Telephone: (519) 797-5068 Toll Free: 1-800-806-8838 or see their website: www.theartschool.org

Exploring Your Singing Voice
Long before there were instruments, we expressed ourselves with our first instrument, the human voice. Sometimes in youth we were not allowed to use our voice shutting down this gift of creative expression. In this experiential session, you will be encouraged to discover your natural singing voice in a gentle, playful and creative manner. We will explore improvisational vocalizing, vocables (made-up words that are sung) and melodic patterns. Ann-Marie will play a variety of exotic musical instruments used in vocal traditions from around the globe. Join her as she weaves together her wonderful vocal and musical skills creating a magical workshop of vocal exploration. No musical experience is required but don’t forget to bring your inner child. With: Ann Marie Boudreau, Musician, Improvisational Vocalist and Soundwork Practitioner, Time: 7:00 to 10:00 pm, Where: Transformational Arts College, 3300 Yonge Street, Toronto, Fee: $35.00 +GST/HST To register call the Transformational Arts College at: 416-484-0454 Website: www.transformationalarts.com

Wise Woman’s Weekend - A Weekend Retreat!
“The Realm of Water”
In this, the 6th annual celebration of Wise Woman Weekend we pay homage to the mainstay of Mother Earth and all life on our planet: Water. Approximately 70% of the Earth’s surface is water-covered. Water is in constant movement, in a water system known as the hydrologic cycle. Water is the only element that exists as a solid, a liquid and a vapour and can do so at any point within the hydrologic cycle. Water is timeless. It is malleable. Water is also the building block of all creation here on Earth. It is essential to all life on this planet. Without it no life would exist on Earth. Yet humanity is painfully, careless and cavalier with this our most precious resource. So let us take this opportunity, this Wise Woman Weekend, to come together once more to celebrate, appreciate, play and create in this healing and life-giving gift: Water.
The Wise Woman Weekend is a yearly event focused on the “whole woman” ? body, mind and spirit. It’s all about Wise Women sharing with other Wise Women. In today’s busy world it’s important to make time to nourish and nurture ourselves. This retreat is just one way that Wise Woman Events asks women to make time for themselves, be present in the “now”, and explore the truths and possibilities of our uniqueness.
Ann-Marie Boudreau will be there with her Voice3 colleagues Lisa Hartt-Spillane and Hazel Walker to help participants explore their voice in an Intentional Sounding Circle and step into a Sound Journey experience. Ann-Marie will also be including her tantra workshop “Journey of the Senses”!
