The Healing Power Of Sound:
A Transformational Arts College Program

The latest scientific research on sound indicates that this vibrational art helps to synchronize the hemispheres of the brain, induce relaxing brainwave states, such as alpha, and produce the relaxation response: lower heart beat, blood pressure and deeper breathing. Besides promoting wellness, the experience of sound can be magical, mystical and creative connecting us deeply to our soul and spirit. Sound, indeed, is a spiritual path. Explore, discover and experience the wonderful affects of sound in this eight week program! http://www.transformationalarts.com/courses/psychospiritual-development-courses/discovering-the-total-self/healing-power-of-sound

voice shutting down this gift of creative expression. In this experiential

gentle, playful and creative manner. We will explore improvisational
vocalizing, vocables (made-up words that are sung) and melodic patterns.
Ann-Marie will play a variety of exotic musical instruments used in vocal
traditions from around the globe. Join her as she weaves together her wonderful
vocal and musical skills creating a magical workshop of vocal exploration. No
musical experience is required but don’t forget to bring your inner child.

the sound. Dive deeply into your journey of authentic expression in this
soulful vocal workshop. Tap into your unlimited creativity & playful inner
child as you explore the use of improvisational singing and vocables. Access
