Exploring the voice through the Chakras
Four Thursdays, November 5th, 12th, 26th, Dec 3rd

Are you interested in exploring your voice in a much deeper and more intimate way?  And, in a small intimate setting?
This is a unique and intimate study of the voice as it is explored through the 7 major chakra energy centers found in the human body.  The ultimate goal of the exploration is to deepen the vocalist’s connection with themselves and open them up to expressing through a wider range of emotions and exotic flavours.  A wide range of world instruments will be introduced and used to support the students throughout their vocal explorations. 
We invite you to step into this soulful exploration of your voice.

An Experiential Day of Breathwork & Soundwork

Sonic Circle: An Exploration of the Sonica Sanctus

Soundwork Practitioners’ Training
Seven Stages of Development
Tuesday, November 10 to December 15

This seven week series presents the cornerstone principles and protocols of soundwork.  Learn how to create therapeutic soundscapes for stages ranging from prenatal life to elderhood.  Participants are given a teaching guide with several hundred pages of research and theory.  The course is largely taught experientially.  No prior musical training is necessary.

Soundwork Practitioners’ Intensive Training
- Level One Certification
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, November 20 to 22

These three days compact years of research and practice in the discipline of soundwork.  In addition to an experiential learning process, participants receive an in-depth study guide.  Participants explore soundwork for well-being, archetypal sounding, and familiarity with instruments.  A musical background is not necessary but a willingness to engage is essential.

Sound Journey Experience in Ottawa
Saturday, November 14th

Recline and relax for 90 minutes while being surrounded by a rich blanket of sound and the soulful vocals of Ann-Marie Boudreau while instruments from traditions around the globe are played around and over you.
Melodic, sometimes dissonant, the sound journey is created utilizing an intimate knowledge of the chakra system, shamanic traditions and the vibrational nature of our bodies to enhance and deepen the experience. Some have considered this live-surround-sound journey as a deep meditation and others a sound massage or a visioning experience.
*Important:  Bring along a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and water for your comfort.*
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Cost: $25
